1. Documentation

We collate and prepare the following documentation:

  • Permit application
  • Engineering
  • Insurances
  • Relevant site plans
  • Colour selection, Tile selection and Interior selection

2. Setout & Excavation

The next step is confirming and setting out the pool position, dimension, and levels. The site is prepared ready for truck and machinery to excavate the pool hole. The soil is removed ready for your Barrie Reef pool shell or steelworks to form the foundations of a concrete shell.

3. Crane & Shell

For Fibreglass pool construction, a crane is set in position for the shell to be lifted into the excavated hole. The shell will be placed on a base material screaded to the set heights and levels.

4. Plumbing, Steel and Concrete

For Concrete pool construction all pipework, cables, and conduits are installed within the pool shell structure. The pool structure is steeled to the engineered requirements for the concrete to be sprayed to form the shell.

5. Concrete curing

For Fibreglass a concrete bond beam is prepared and poured. We recommend the beam to settle for 7 days before commencement of copping.

For Concrete pool construction once the pool is spayed, the pool is left to cure for a minimum of 28 days. After the 28 days, period commencement of pool interior or tiling can begin to the shell.

6. Equipment/solar heating installation

Installation and connect all pipes to your pool’s filters and pumps. Installation of heating system, solar, gas or heat pump will also be installed.

7. Handover

This process involves starting up the filter systems, flushing out the plumbing lines, chemically dosing the pool and balancing the swimming pool water. A final site clean will be completed at handover. Afterward, we will walk you through how to clean your pool, operation your pool systems and answer any question you may have.
